Substance Abuse Treatment:  You or someone you love can't stop using. They use daily, don't think they have a problem or having been unwilling to seek help. You tell yourself, "This is the last one." "I'll stop tomorrow." "It's just weed." "Everyone does it." "I have so much pressure." The list goes on and on. Meanwhile, the problem is gradually getting worse. Whether you see it or not. It's not going to go away on it's own. No spontaneous remission here. This requires help. Specialized help. From someone who understands. Someone who speaks the language. This is a life or death matter. You can be alive physically, merely existing. But dead inside. That's what drugs can do.

Anxiety Disorders:  You worry all the time. It's so hard to control. The thoughts keep coming. Worried about everything. Fear of losing my mind. Fear of losing control. "Will I end up in the psychward?" You avoid things. Certain people, places or situations. Fear is the dominant emotion. Accompanied by physical symptoms at times (e.g., racing heart, sweaty palms, tense muscles, stomach discomfort, etc.). Panic attacks too. For some of us.
